Grace Street Youth Mission Trip June 2017
Here’s the scoop!
Ten youth from Grace Street are leaving the comfort of home and their summer schedules this week to serve the Lord. The team will work in Arlington, leading Rainbow Express® twice a day – in the morning and afternoon. Rainbow Express® is Mission Arlington’s version of a back-yard Bible club. Snacks, crafts, music, games, and Bible stories are all part of the fun. The Grace Street teenagers have been preparing for several weeks – studying the Bible stories, dividing up the responsibilities for the week, and spending time praying for this trip. Several from our church family are lending a hand, preparing meals for our students and committing to pray for each student through the week.
Prayer Matters
Please pray that their witness will be unhindered, and that people who need Jesus will have a clear opportunity to accept Him as Savior. Pray for our students protection and safety as they share God’s love, and for God to protect them from any distraction which would hinder their work this week. Pray for their own spiritual walk with the Lord to be deepened, and for the Lord to build a stronger and more unified youth group. Finally, pray for Jason, Ashley, and Steven as they give leadership to the team for the duration of the trip. Prayer really matters. Would you join us in prayer for the week?
