BASEBALL ?    GAMES ?    FUN ?

Come one.   Come all.   Grace Street Children are invited
to “Play Ball!” at Mission Arlington’s Baseball Academy,
on Saturday mornings at 10:00am.

Who is it for?
Grace Street Children (and their friends) between the ages of kindergarten and sixth grade, and any parent, grandparent, or guardian who wants to come.

When Is It?
Four Consecutive Saturdays – from 10:00 am ? until 12:00 noon ?

  • September 15
  • September 22
  • September 29
  • October 6

What if my child can’t participate every week?
We want our Grace Street children to come any week that they are able. Whether they can make it every Saturday, or only 1 Saturday, they will be welcomed and fit right in.

What happens at the Baseball Academy?
Grace Street children will enjoy the outdoors, away from all the gadgets, and enjoy playing the game of baseball, led by former AISD Superintendent, coach, and Mission Arlington Bible study teacher – Jerry McCullough. The children will learn the basic skills of baseball, hear a devotional from God’s Word, and have an opportunity to play the game too.

Where is it?
At “Hunter’s Field,” located behind Parkview Church (820 N. Fielder Rd). The church, pastored by Bob Burgin, is on the West side of Fielder road between Sanford and Randol Mill.

What do the kids need to bring?
If your child has been to this Baseball Academy before, then have them bring their hats, gloves, and Mission Arlington T-shirts. If the children don’t have these things, then come anyway, and these things will be provided.

When does it start?
The academy starts precisely at 10:00 a.m. However, with registration and a few other details, it is best to have your children there no later than 9:45. Pickup time is promptly at noon. If you need transportation to help get your child there, contact Jim here, or Caitlin here. The church will work out a way for your child to get to and from the Academy.

Any other questions?
Please contact pastor Jim. 🙂
