Dr. Roy Cotton and our pastor have been friends for the past 26 years.  They first met and served together as colleagues with the Baptist General Convention of Texas where Dr. Cotton was part of a church planting team starting churches all across Texas, and subsequently the Director of African American Ministries. In these roles, Dr. Cotton provided all kinds of professional and personal support & guidance to our church. 

Cotton has been married to Inez Barge Cotton for 39 years. They have two children, Roy II, married to Niya, and Justin, married to Carolina. He also has four grandchildren, Roy III, Eric, Nyla and Justin II. 

Roy has been a constant friend, supporter, and prayer partner for Grace Street and Mission Arlington for more than two decades.
