Hello Grace Street Families,
You all are invited to join us every Wednesday Night at Grace Street Fellowship from 6:30-7:30 PM.
There will be Bible studies for all ages, and we would love – love – love for you to bring your families and come learn about the wonderful word of God.
So much happens on Wednesdays:
- The Youth Group is invited to come a little early – at 6:00 pm every Wednesday. Steven Burgin, our youth minister prepares a wonderful meal for our students, 7th – 12th grades. Students enjoy fellowship with each other after a long day of school. They can play pool, or just hang out. After the meal, Steven, and the team of volunteer youth leaders lead the students in a creative and relevant study of God’s Word.
- The Children’s Ministry – From the nursery through the sixth (6th) grade, the children have great fun, while learning the Bible from caring teachers. It is truly amazing how much our children know about the Bible. The Grace Street Children’s ministry is a safe and fun place for them to learn about the Lord. Our children’s choir also practices on Wednesday nights and sings in our worship service at least once a month.
- Adult Bible Study – Genesis – We meet in the Lockwood Center behind the main church building, starting at 6:30. We spend time praying together, then walk through a book of the Bible together in a conversational way. Currently, we are studying the book of Genesis. As we go through each book, we talk about ways we can apply to Bible to our lives today. Come join us.
- Sanctuary Choir Practice – Singing together is so much fun, and what a privilege it is to be an instrument the Lord uses to help others to worship Him. Every Wednesday evening, our adult choir members practice for the music they will lead in worship – at least once a month. These adults also work on special presentation, such as for the Good Friday service, and at other times of the year. We know what you are thinking. And no, you don’t have to be a proficient musician, or to read music in order to join this group. You will grow as you go. If you can make a joyful noise, and you want to use your voice to worship our Lord, come give it a try. You will truly be blessed, and so will we.
What’s the dress code on Wednesday nights?
We are a “come as you are” kind of church. Please dress comfortably – jeans and tennis shoes are pretty normal, and you will fit right in.
