Renovations in progress
Grace Street Family as you know our sanctuary is undergoing a carpet makeover this week. We hope you are as excited as we are. We know the carpet has been there since Grace Street came to this location, about 10 years ago. So for this blessing we are all very grateful.
It was extraordinary on Sunday to witness so many men in our church come together and willingly move almost 100 pews in preparation of the new carpet. As I looked at everyone I was deeply moved by all smiles, and the outpour of encouragement from one to another. Men of all ages and different walks of life working in unity as one body. It was a true reflection of A Family in Christ. We are blessed.
I want you to know this was not a quick decision. Your leadership and finance team have been praying over this decision for months. The carpet should be completed by Saturday, so not to disrupt our Sunday worship.
In order to help our new carpet last as long as possible we ask that you leave all drinks and food in the welcome center. This will ensure it stays as clean as possible.
Thursday Night: Celebrate Recovery will be held in the chapel on the west wing of the building.
Wednesday Night: Bible study will still be in the Lockwood Center.
Sunday Worship: Sanctuary as usual
