Grace Street Fellowship

Summer Camp

This Saturday, July 6th, Grace Street Fellowship upper-elementary children will join other Mission Arlington® congregations for a fun-filled, spiritually energizing summer day camp.

This camp is for elementary-aged students who are going into 4th through 7th grades, and it requires two permission slips which you can get from the children’s ministry.

Parents, please bring your students to Mission Arlington’s main campus no later than 8:45 a.m. on the 6th.  Meet Caitlin there to present your child’s permission slips and to check in your student. Each student will also receive a free Mission Arlington® camp t-shirt.  If you need a ride for your students, please call the church office at 817-704-6173, or you can e-mail the pastor here.

Hosted by Camp Thurman in Arlington, this camp includes swimming, ropes courses which navigate through the trees and over a stream, a 40 foot tall, two-lane zipline, a giant pendulum swing, and a power pole trapeze jump, slap dodgeball, and many other games and crafts.  A free meal will be served for lunch, and plenty of water will be available to keep the kids cool. The children will also hear an interactive Bible story creatively presented by one of the Mission’s children’s teachers.   All in all, it is a super time for the students.

You do not need to bring anything for this camp, other than sun-screen for your students, and also your permission slips.  (Two are required for this trip.)  If for some reason, you don’t receive your permissions slips, then come up to the Mission early on Saturday morning, so that you will have a little extra time to fill them out.

We are so grateful to the Lord for the privilege of this exciting, fulfilling camp for our children.  Please join us in prayer.

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of our children! Thank you for the privilege of teaching them about you.
