We worship a living Lord, both in gratitude for what He has done for us, and in praise of who He is. He is worthy of our worship. We understand that worship isn’t just something we do on Sundays, but a habit in which we participate in, and the overflow of who we are each day of the week. Our worship services aren’t filled with a bunch of announcements. We keep it simple, allowing a quiet and free space to praise our Lord.
Will you use your gift to lead others to worship?
Praise Team: On Sunday mornings, and at various special services throughout the year, the Praise Team (guitars, bass, and drums) blend their voices in worship, leading the congregation through various worship experiences. Praise team practice happens each Wednesday at 6:00, and every Sunday morning at 8:15.
Soloists, Duets, Trios, and Ensembles – God has gifted people to worship him with their voices. Each week, different people from Grace Street use these gifts to lead us in worship.
Children’s Choir: Grace Street Children lead the church in worship at least two times a year, at Christmas and Easter. Times for rehearsals during the year are communicated to the church and through the Children’s ministry. It is always so beautiful to worship when our children sing.
Youth Praise Team: At various times, the youth in our church have led worship. The praise team portion of our youth group continues to develop.
Sanctuary Choir – led by Dr. EB Brooks, the sanctuary choir meets for practice every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The choir sings in the morning worship services every other week on average. The choir is currently looking for more to join them.
